FAQ
Nightsky Camp is slated to open Fall 2026.
Stargazer members will have first access to reservations and will be able to begin booking on August 7th, one week earlier than the general public on August 14th.
Nightsky will open our calendar for bookings beginning November 16th, 2026. Opening dates are estimates and subject to change, and we’ll keep guests updated as we approach launch.
Room rates at Nightsky will vary by date and accommodation type. Weekday rates will start around $200 per night plus applicable taxes and an amenity fee.
Yes! We welcome well-behaved dogs at Nightsky for an additional fee of $125 per stay (up to 2 dogs). We kindly ask that other pets stay at home. Please note that not all of our Eco-Tents are dog-friendly, so please confirm at the time of booking.
To keep the Nightsky experience great for all guests, we require that dogs remain on a 6-foot leash at all times, are never left unattended, and that owners clean up after them. We also ask that dog owners help us maintain our quiet hours between 10pm and 7am.
Nightsky is located within San Luis Obispo County’s El Chorro Regional Park, so County park rules and ordinances apply throughout your stay. We’re also fortunate enough to be nearby a wonderful off-leash dog park – El Chorro Dog Park is a short walk from your Eco-Tent.

Stargazer FAQ
Stargazer members can book their stay starting Friday, August 7th for stays beginning November 16th, 2026.
Stargazers will receive an early access email on Friday (8/7) with a unique booking link/code. Keep your eyes peeled on that inbox.
Stargazer members will have a 2-month early access window to book available dates using the Early Access member rate ($100 per night off, for up to two nights, up to a maximum of $200 on one stay).
If you do not book during this early access period, your $50 membership deposit can be applied as a credit toward a future stay. Additional member offers may be available from time to time but are not guaranteed.
The $50 Stargazer membership deposit is non-refundable. However, if you do not book during the early access period, the $50 deposit value does not expire and may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future stay.
The Early Access member rate is valid on one reservation only, for stays of up to two nights, and must be booked during the two-month early access window.
The discount applies to room rates only (excluding taxes, fees, and add-ons), is non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions, and cannot be split across multiple bookings.
Your $50 secures your Stargazer membership and your early access discount, and is not applied to the room rate.
If you do not book during the early access period, the $50 may be applied as a credit toward a future reservation.
